Mama’s Lebanese Kitchen was created to honor our mother Esperance Sammour and her amazing Lebanese recipes and cooking style. She was born and raised in Bakarkasha, a village in the mountains of Lebanon, and inherited her cooking from her mother Mansoura and mother-in-law Mannoush. Every recipe on this site is the real, home version, tested in a family kitchen and loved by readers around the world.
